What's the difference between E27 B22 E14 MR16 GU53?

The lamp holders commonly used E27 B22 E14 MR16 GU53 JDR GU10 E40 and so on.
MR16, E27, GU10 refers to the different specifications of the lamp holder, called spotlights also called lamp cup.
E27 refers to the diameter of the threaded port 27mm screw base, E14 is the thread diameter of 14mm threaded lamp holder. MR16-diameter = 16 × 1/8 = 2 inches 50mm in shape, the MR series is a fine pin, MR16 low voltage lights.
GU: G indicates the type of lamp is a plug-in, U lamp part of a U-shape behind the numbers that light foot hole center distance (in mm "mm"). GU10 two round pins, GU10 ceramic lamp holder.

Indoor lighting products English Glossary:
1.PAR38 (paraboloid aluminium reflector):
PAR is said paraboloid-shaped reflector 38, which means that the maximum outer diameter, i.e.: (1/8) * 38 * 25.4 ≈ 120.0mm
PAR: echo shape of paraboloid; 38: max outer diameter: (1/8) * 38 * 25.4 ≈ 120.0mm
2.MR16 (Multifaceted (Mirror) Reflector):
MR is expressed by the combination of a plurality of reflection surfaces of the reflector 16, which means that the maximum outer diameter, i.e.:
(1/8) * 16 * 25.4 ≈ 50.0mm. MR: max outer diameter
3.T8 fluorescent lamp (T10):
T: (Tube), 8 which means that the outer diameter Outer Diameter, i.e.: (1/8) * 8 * 25.4 ≈ 25.0mm
10 denotes the outer diameter Outer Diameter, i.e.: (1/8) * 10 * 25.4 ≈ 30.0mm
GU10 lamp holder :G indicates the type of lamp is a plug-in, U lamp part of a U-shape, behind the numbers that light foot hole center distance 10 mm
