MR16 is the lamp holders diameter of 50mm. General default MR16 is gu5.3 the lamp holders, insert two pins. GU10 refers twisted thin hanging twisted kind of lamp holders.
Current MR16 GU10, whether or GU5.3 base, can be made high and low pressure, because it has a relationship with the lamps inside the drive.
The mainstream the GU10 for high pressure; GU5.3 for low pressure, but there are many customers to be 5.3 made high pressure.
The high-pressure lamps is direct access to the 110 to 220 mains and low pressure lamps is to the middle followed by a high pressure to turn the low-voltage transformer (also called power).
High and low voltage lampholder does not matter, you can not take a GU5.3 lamp to the E27 lamp holder, serious mismatch.
